I thought this course was excellent. I always looked forward to the workshops. I thought I knew a lot, but some of the contents surprised me. It has encouraged me to work harder and improve when I can, [and integrate] aspects of the workshops in my own life.

I really enjoyed the course. I learnt so much about Global poverty. I found all the facts extremely interesting and I would love to continue. I really enjoyed learning about Global Justice and some of the facts really shocked me.

I feel very strongly about the challenge to end global poverty and I would love to help in ending it.

I know that it is a huge challenge to end global poverty and we (in the developed and developing world) must come together and help those in need.

I now know that ending global poverty is a huge challenge and people must work together to achieve the goals.

I feel that even if I as an individual make small changes to my own life, we could make a huge change to society.

80 people have the same amount of money as 3.5 billion people.

I feel more passionate about it now that I know about all the injustice in the world.

I really enjoyed learning about global injustice and inequality. It shocked me that we, the developed world, throw out enough food every day to feed the developing world 3 times.

I thought the workshops were very informative and I learnt a lot about the unfairness of the world.

The Development Education workshops especially opened my eyes to the problems of unfair trade and tax, and debt in the Global South. The 5:50:500 statistic truly shocked me and urged me to think about what a difference fair trade and debt-free policies would make to developing countries.

I really enjoyed this workshop and I think it’s really great to have something that makes people think and understand issues outside of themselves as it’s easy to get caught up in everyday life. Thank you!
